Climb Sigiriya in the morning! Rising vividly from the central plains, this mysterious rocky outcrop is perhaps Sri Lanka’s most theatrical sight.  Near-vertical walls ascend to a flat-topped peak that contains the remains of an early civilisation, thought to be formerly the epicenter of the brief kingdom of King Kassapa.

Grab a cooling king coconut en route to refresh yourselves!

Today, make a trip to ancient Polonnaruwa which was a home to the ancient Sinhalese kings and queens, it’s a heritage site full of ancient gems to discover! Without a doubt, the best way to explore the ancient city is by bicycle. This way you can get out in the fresh open air, cover a lot of the site and take a tour at your own leisure. You’ll meander through stupas, ancient palaces, step wells, temples, Buddha statues, coconut pitstops and more…

Afterwards enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at a small family run establishment.

Afternoon you may enjoy a Safari ride at the Minneriya National Park.

Today drive to the serene hills of Kandy, a countryside hamlet with cool breeze, leafy green landscapes, misty mountains gathered around the lake. By a leisurely stroll down the lanes, you can find a lot of seasonal fruits, vegetables and spices also you will pass small shops with handcrafts, wood ornaments that you will want to stop and check.

Kandy Lake is the heart of this charming city and during a lazy afternoon you will just sit on a beach and stare at the Temple and vibrant city.

In the late afternoon, witness a cultural dance show which will be a combo demonstration of dancing traditions in Sri Lanka and you will be amazed to see the dancers with fire in their mouth and fall in love

with the stylish performers. In the evening go on a street food tasting walk around the city center and sample the local delicacies famous in the region!

Today you will board the train to Nuwara Eliya in the hill country-located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, and popular for its Ceylon Tea plantations. With its cool air, magnificent waterfalls, and thriving tea culture, the enchanting allure of these hills must to be seen to be believed. Clicketty-clack through dark tunnels on winding tracks, past tea bushes trimmed by regular picking that look like green sculptures stretching up and down the misty hills as far as the eye can see. While on board do not forget to spare few rupees to buy some short eats and sweets from the local food vendor or to tip the local singer who will be singing on top of his lungs.

Spend the rest of the day at your leisure in Grand Hotel with High Tea in the evening.

This morning you will head to Horton Plains National Park. Horton Plains was declared a National Park in 1988 and covers 3,160 hectares of grasslands interspersed with forest and forms an undulating plateau more than 2,000 m (6,600 ft) high. The best time to visit is in the early morning. You rise through the wooded countryside on winding lanes. If you are lucky you may get a glimpse of Adam’s Peak in the distance to your right shortly before you reach the open uplands of Horton Plains. Arriving at the entrance gate, you start your walk. The trail is clear throughout, reaching Little Worlds End in 45 minutes, walking through woodland, then 15 minutes later, the greater drop of World’s End.

On a clear day, the view is incredible.

From this point, you can either return to the entrance the same way you came or continue on an open pathway (no more shade) around hillsides until a short climb brings you to the ridge just above Baker’s Falls, where a track leads down to the water. The falls are about 20 metres high, and are worth visiting if you are a keen walker and prepared to do the longer circuit. Returning to the entrance gate is along another open path and takes around 45 minutes. The entire walk is around 8 km if you walk to World’s End and back, or around 9 km (5.6 miles) if you do the full circuit. Afterwards, you will transfer to Ella. Relax and unwind into boundless joy with stunning views of the hill country.

This morning you have the option of hiking Little Adam’s Peak and visiting the Nine Arch Bridge. You can also take a zip line adventure over tea fields or simply relax looking over the endless tea fields.
Explore the Hiriketiya, Dalawalla and Rummasala beaches. Fringed by tropical forest and lapped by surging surf, this tiny horseshoe-shaped cove is fast becoming one of Sri Lanka’s coolest beaches. For now it’s still somewhat off the radar and draws an in-the-know crowd of independent travellers and ex-pats. Hiriketiya’s appeal is easy to understand: it’s tucked well away from the highway traffic that curses many southern Sri Lankan beaches and there are no looming hotels, only a handful of low-key guesthouses – for now.

The Rumassala Beach is rich in biodiversity and the reef acts as a protected sanctuary and serves as a major archaeological site. It is a well-known place for fishing and is also suitable for canoodling as it offers beauty, safety from waves and privacy. Dubbed as a tropical paradise, Mirissa on the southern coast is secluded beach destination in Sri Lanka.

You can hire a private yacht and sail away together into the sunrise in search of whales and dolphins. Afterwards explore the delightful Galle fort; Galle is a jewel. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums. Wandering its rambling mysterious lanes you’ll pass stylish cafes, charming boutiques and impeccably restored restaurants owned by local and foreign artists, writers, photographers and designers!

After breakfast, proceed to the commercial capital of Colombo. You can opt for a sightseeing tour or go on a shopping tour. End the day with fascinating views of the Indian ocean.

As all good things must come to an end, your chauffeur guide will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your return flight with pleasant memories.
